W.A.D. Global is taking a step towards better and healthier agricultural land. Regionally and overall, within ecosystems and across value chains. Local yields will increase, with higher productivity per square metre. W.A.D. Global is focused on the 500 to 600 million small and large(r) farmers and their families, helping them to take small steps towards increased self-sufficiency through higher productivity. That first step will be made in Kenya and dry areas in Europe. Activities will start in the Netherlands at the same time, aimed at market gardeners, with a focus on growing crops in sandy soils at lower cost and using less water.
Last week we informed you about the fact that our open field pilot has started. Now we can share, that the potatoes are planted in the ground with GROOOW. Keep you posted!
